Sashi Bhusan Mohapatra is a technical leader with over 17 years of experience in the embedded software industry. He has worked in automotive, consumer electronics, semiconductor, and software industries. Currently working as a Sr. Engineering Manager, Devices Platforms, DEG at Radisys Corporation, Sashi is leading and managing multiple engineering teams of around 30+ engineers. Sashi is a leader, designer, developer, and out-of-the-box thinker. He is focused on finding the right solutions to problems by assembling and iterating the best ideas to build great software for great products. He has developed and successfully driven PoC from whiteboard to demo platform. He has built, led, managed, and driven the engineering team of architects, developers, integrators, and testers to successfully deliver software solutions. He has performed well in a fluid and fast-paced environment and has owned and driven technical discussions. He has worked in teams based in multiple locations and different time zones and has experience working with top Tier 1 OEMs in NA, EU, and China regions. Sashi has experience in Android system software for digital cockpit and standalone automotive solutions for various h/w platforms. He has architected scalable and reusable software solutions for automotive platforms, debugged and solved complex system software issues, and architected voice solutions for wearable and hearable platforms. He has experience in various chipsets such as Samsung EA9, TI Jacinto6 (automotive chipsets), QL EOSS3 (Sensor & Voice processing chipset), and STM Freeman, Genesis Chaplin, Bogart (DTV chipsets). Sashi is well-versed in C/C++, Data Structures, Algorithms, Embedded Systems, Bootloaders, Linux, Android, FreeRTOS, QNX, Device Drivers (UART, I2C, SPI, USB, MMC - SDIO). He has worked in Agile models of Software Engineering meeting ASPICE compliance. He has experience in hiring, doing performance appraisals, setting targets for the entire team, and mentoring the team to get the best out of them.
